PHARMACEUTICAL
The PDL pharmaceutical division serves all hospitals, doctors, and pharmacies in the Cayman Islands with the high-quality products needed to treat and care for their patients.
We stock a wide variety of pharmaceutical items, including injections, oral medications, generic medications, prescription medications, and vaccines. If our customers require any specific medications that we do not stock, our registered in-house pharmacist uses her global relationships to source them. With our world-class logistical operations, we deliver when it comes to bringing much-needed emergency products to the island in the shortest amount of time.
Our team represents some of the top pharmaceutical manufacturers globally, such as Merck, Janssen Pfizer, and AstraZeneca, which we have partnered with and supplied to the Cayman Islands since 2003.
We offer same-day delivery on stock items ordered in the morning and work closely with our customers to ensure personal delivery on items that are needed urgently or temperature-sensitive.

MEDICAL CANNABINOIDS
As of May 2017, medical cannabis is legal in the Cayman Islands. PDL has partnered with Canopy Growth, the only cannabis company to be a member of a major global stock market index, the S&P/TSX Composite index.
With its most common use of chronic pain control, cannabis' appeal is clearly safer than opiates (it is impossible to overdose on and is considered far less addictive). Cannabis can also take the place of NSAIDs such as Aleve or Advil if people can’t take them due to problems with their kidneys or ulcers.
Canopy Growth, together with PDL, commits to education and work together with local doctors offering Mainpro-M1 accredited continuing medical education programs.

SPECTRUM THERAPEUTICS
As the official distributor of Spectrum Therapeutics in the Cayman Islands, we supply the medical field with medicinal cannabinoid oils and soft gel capsules. PDL has worked closely with the Cayman Government to import medical cannabis products to Cayman since 2019 legally.
Spectrum Therapeutics is focused on developing and researching clinically-ready, whole-plant cannabis drug formulations, and dose delivery systems. Their research and development plan's foundation is to improve the quality of life and health of those suffering from acute and chronic illnesses.
The proper formulation of cannabinoids means the opportunity to improve many common complaints and ailments, like pain, appetite stimulation, and sleep quality. Medical cannabis is also used to manage common diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s; and autoimmune diseases such as Crohn’s disease and colitis and fibromyalgia.
