Overview

Are you a marketing and sales specialist who loves the idea of working with international brands in the
retail and foodservice industries?

Progressive Distributors Ltd. (PDL) is growing and currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Brand Representative.

In this role, you will need to ensure your portfolio of brands is fully represented in marketing and sales
functions while identifying and pursuing customer growth opportunities and developing business within retail and foodservice agencies through direct B2B sales, creative campaigns, strategic sponsorships, and other integrated approaches.

As a member of the PDL team, you must be willing to process and learn Company systems taught by your Manager; must be punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking.  Strong work ethic and a positive attitude is a must at PDL. In addition, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Salary Range: CI$45,000.00– CI$50,000.00 (US$53,571.43 – US$59,523.81) per annum commensurate with experience.  An attractive compensation and benefits package (including company car, medical insurance, vacation and pension) is being offered to the qualified candidate.  All applications received will be reviewed and only candidates meeting the mandatory requirements will be contacted for interview.

Core Technical Competencies Required

• Must have at least 3 years previous experience in presenting and articulating marketing programs, preferably at retail level, using traditional and non-traditional media channels. 
• Must have experience and knowledge in retail brand category management or foodservice distribution.
• Must have experience in creating and managing multiple budgets and a good understanding of retail pricing. 
• Must have strong ability to analyze reports and work with sales team to implement findings in trade.
• Must be able to recognize opportunities and follow through with new initiatives for brands within the portfolio.
• Must have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. 
• Must be highly proficient in MS Office applications and Outlook.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Must have Associates degree or equivalent
• Must have the ability to drive.
