Position: Export Sales Representative 

Department: Foodservice Sales   

Reports to: Foodservice Sales Manager

Progressive Distributors Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Export Sales Representative who will develop, work and maintain sales targets as well as upsell on quality goods.  The successful candidate must have the ability to drive and be able to travel extensively and work internationally. This is a Monday through Saturday job; however, it is not a normal 8-5 position.  Extensive overtime will be required especially during our high season November through April.  Weekly schedule will be provided.  Must be willing to process and learn Company systems taught by the Manager; must be punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking.  A strong work ethic and a positive attitude will be required.  Must be computer literate.  Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently.  

Salary range: CI$45,000.00-$63,000.00 (US$53,571.42-75,000.00) per annum commensurate with experience and Monthly Performance Bonus on top of base salary.  An attractive compensation and benefits package (including medical insurance, vacation and pension) is being offered to the qualified candidate.  All applications received will be reviewed and only qualified candidates will be contacted for interview. 

Core Technical Competencies Required

• Minimum of 5 years working sales experience in the Foodservice Industry, OR minimum of 5 years Culinary Experience at management level is required. 
• Must have extensive knowledge of foodservice products & grocery items & disposable products.
• Must be proficient with MS Office applications and especially advanced in the use of MS Excel.  
• Must have excellent administrative and communication skills. 
• The successful candidate must have the ability to drive and be able to travel extensively and work internationally.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Degree or equivalent.
• Associate Degree preferred.
