Shane Foster

Shane attended Weber International University in Florida, USA and graduated in 1986. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Progressive Distributors Ltd. and has grown the company to become the largest distributorship in the Cayman Islands.

Dax Foster - Chief Operating Officer

Dax Foster

Dax started working at Foster Brothers Ltd. in 1989, involved in the Sales and Marketing for the retail portfolio. After the 2003 merger agreement, Dax was assigned to the daily management and amalgamation of what it is known today as Progressive Distributors Ltd. He is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for PDL.

Colin-Abbott

Colin Abbott

Colin studied engineering at UMIST (UK) and Computer programming at The Open University and has been the IT Manager at PDL since 1995. He is responsible for liaising with partners to design, implement/maintain systems and to provide hardware and software support to all users.

Alok-Singh

Alok Singh

After completing his Hotel Management degree in India, Alok chose to become a chef and worked in some of the most respected kitchens in both India and Cayman. He has also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and his MBA since joining PDL in 2002. He is currently the Senior Food Service Sales Manager.

Kathryn Barnett

Kathryn Barnett

Kathy Barnett is a registered pharmacist and obtained her pharmacy degree from Sunderland University. Kathy arrived in Cayman in 1991 and worked at George Town Hospital for 14 years before joining PDL in 2005. She is our Pharmaceutical Department Manager and ensures that the pharmaceuticals supplied are of the highest standard and quality.

Kevin Yorke

Kevin Yorke

Kevin obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Management with an Accounts major from the University of the West Indies. Kevin started with PDL in 2015 as the Inventory Supervisor and oversees the Inventory department. His main responsibilities include adequate stock rotation, counts and discrepancies as well as inventory tagging and stock inspection.

Mark Nightingale

Mark Nightingale

Mark is a qualified chef, originally from the UK. He started with PDL in 2006 focusing largely on food service, later moving up to oversee both food service and retail buyer portfolios as Purchasing Manager. Mark ensures the best quality goods are obtained and supervises stock levels to ensure customer fill rates are kept within company standards.

Gina Peck

Gina Peck

Gina graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Business Management. She arrived in Grand Cayman in 2008 where she started with Progressive Distributors as Marketing Supervisor. Gina has recently earned her MBA and currently oversees all marketing related functions for the company and sales for the retail division.

Richard Kyberd

Richard Kyberd

Richard is responsible for the day to day running of warehouse operations. This includes the supervision of staff, distribution operations and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Prior to Warehouse Manager he was the Inventory Supervisor with over 20 years’ experience in an inventory environment.

Patrick Brown

Patrick Brown

Patrick was born in Jamaica, upon his arrival in Cayman he rooted himself into the food service industry with Fosters Food Fair Wholesale. He has been working for Progressive Distributors Ltd. since 2010 as Produce Clerk. His role includes quality assurance, stock control and rotation as well as assistance in shipping of items out to customers.

Kenneth Byrne

Kenneth Byrne

Ken is originally from Mullingar Westmeath, Ireland. As Meat Shop Manager of PDL, since 2011, his key responsibilities involve ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of production. Along with innovation in aspects of dry aged programs, sausage production and burger blends, he keeps PDL’s meat programs competitive and of the highest quality.
