Job Title: Replenishment Planner

Overview

Progressive Distributors Ltd. is currently looking for a dynamic Replenishment Planner who will be responsible for ordering products from approved suppliers and maintaining proper inventory levels to meet consumers’ demands.  This is a Monday through Friday job with Saturdays rotated within in the department. Extensive overtime will be required especially during our high season, from November through April.  Must be willing to process and learn Company systems; must be highly organized, honest, and reliable with keen attention to detail.  A strong work ethic and a positive attitude will be required.  Must be computer literate.  Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently.  

Salary Range: CI$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per annum commensurate with experience and Monthly Performance Bonus on top of base salary.  An attractive compensation and benefits package (including medical insurance, vacation and pension) is being offered to the qualified candidate.  All applications received will be reviewed and only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.  

Core Technical Competencies Required

• Must have at least 3 years working experience in a purchasing position, ideally in a food retail / wholesale environment.
• Must have experience in corresponding and negotiating with international suppliers.
• Must have proven experience in analyzing market trends for ordering purposes.
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in purchasing product requirements for marketing initiatives set by manufacturers and brand managers.
• Must have basic letter writing skills and email etiquette.
