NIMAN RANCH BEEF SLIDERS

With Niman Ranch beef burger 80% lean topped with Organic Valley scrambled egg & Mexican blend cheese

Brunch sliders… for any time of the day!

This beef sliders recipe using Niman Ranch beef burgers and Organic Valley Mexican blend cheese is the ultimate any-time food for both kids and adults. For a Caymanian kick, we recommend scotch bonnet sauce (for those wanting to heat things up!)

MAKES 8 SLIDERS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack Bakerly dinner rolls
  • 1 – 1.5lb Niman Ranch beef burger 80% lean
  • 4 Organic Valley eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Organic Valley Heavy Cream
  • Pinch of salt
  • Splash of Eaton’s Scotch Bonnet sauce3 oz (half a pouch) Organic Valley Mexican Blend shredded cheese

METHOD

  1. Halve burgers to fit the size of the dinner rolls. Heat a large frying pan on high heat. Place burgers in hot pan. Let sear for 2 to 3 minutes until well browned.
  2. Turn off the heat and let the burger continue to cook for 5 minutes in the residual heat of the pan.
  3. Use your fingertips to check for doneness or insert a thermometer into the thickest part of the burger- 120°F for very rare, 125°F for rare, or 130°F for medium rare. If needed, return the burger and pan to medium high heat for a few minutes.
  4. Remove the burgers from the pan and let rest for 10 minutes.
  5. While the burgers are resting, whisk the cracked eggs and heavy cream into a mixing bowl. Add a pinch of salt before adding to a hot, buttered pan.
  6. Gently fold eggs over and continue to do so until eggs are softly set.
  7. Slice open brioche dinner rolls, butter, add burger and top with scrambled egg, cheese and hot sauce.
